lum's got chronic issues with his legs, and is usually using a wheelchair, walker, or cane. he has good days where he can walk about and sometimes even run, but that's rare, so he keeps his mobility aids nearby.

that lil' owl is Spice. lum's got an animal companion in some games i use him in, either as a magical familiar or just a regular pet. Spice is often an owl, but sometimes he's a dog or some other household pet. to be honest, lum having a pet has been an idea i've been using less and less, so if spice ever is around, he's more a background accessory than a character.
