sometimes i’m just buying game rulebooks online just to read them, with no intent on playing the game ever. tabletop game mechanics are fascinating to me, and i love working out how they work in my head. here i’ll show some i’ve created myself. they’re kooky and very rules-lite, so if that’s your thing, enjoy!

Glyph Quest - this was an idea to make a tabletop rpg where the players use scrabble tiles to play. like scrabble, it benefits from having a dictionary or thesaurus at the table! extended conflicts are represented by games of hangman, and players have to be clever with their wordplay as they overcome their challenges.
