back to my second life

hi! well, like i said in my last post, i ordered a steam deck... so that's where i've been LOL
it's so fun! there was so many games in my steam library i've collected over the years that i got to finally play. i've been enjoying Shatter, WEBFISHING, and of course the lovely Caves of Qud.
most of all though, i finally have a good enough computer to return to Second Life. i practically grew up on that side of the internet (my account tells me it was created in 2006! wow!) and it was so fun coming back and exploring. lemme show u some places i liked-- click the thumbnails for a closer look.
i visited a pizza parlor run by a little pizza pony, i attended a science attraction for a strange flesh pit growing in the ground, and i boarded the satellite of love at the mystery science theater 3000!
they were showing predator 2 and the audience was filled with hilarious riffers hehehe

anyway that's what i've been up to, can't update a site when you've got so many new toys to play with lmaooo. i'll get back to it sometime soon i'm sure.

i didn't plan on working on anything here today, but i did visit my about page, and i thought i could add a bit more lol. i moved all the buttons out of my about page onto it's own as well, so i'm not just gifnuking unsuspecting people.

i finished up the art gallery. the main page kinda stinks tbh i'll be fixing it sometime later. i wanna make some prev/next buttons for the gallery pages too. but! now you can see some character art of mine. check it ooout.

quick update. i have condensed music, art, writing, and games down to one tab simply called gallery, which splits from there into the others. you can see the cute character buttons i did for the different galleries, that was fun! i also added a fifth catagory, cooking, because hey hey hey i love cooking too!! it's empty rn but look forward to recipes.
i'm still working on the art gallery, but games is up. i only have one of my games there, but more on the way. a placeholder page for writing is also up, probably will take the longest to get things there cuz my writing notes are a mess and i need to organize first lol.
i changed the tab "links" to "favs" cuz i like that more, and the page is up, though it's mostly empty lmao... coming soon so go check out these cool things!! i think they're pretty rad ok
also new tab, chat!! there's a cbox there if you wanna say hi or use it like a guestbook or whatevs.

learning html has been great, and i keep picking new things and getting paralyzed by the freedom lmao.
i finished up my silly about me page and filled it with buttons, and then i plastered a buncha soundcloud embeds on the new music page! i'm working on the pages going from left to right on the navbar, so i'm halfway..ish there i guess.
i wanna figure out a nice gallery setup for the art, gotta study how.
oh also look at my son!!!
my wonderful sister carrie got me a tamagotchi for christmas and i love him. i call him the doof. the doofster. sir doofington. the dooferino.
he returned to his home planet today, i am proud of him!
doof jr will soon be here, and then it's over for all of you. mwahahah.

the grotto is my personal webbed page, like a virtual refrigerator upon which i hang my weird projects and other things that i like with magnets shaped like bananas or perhaps a luchador. that way, i can see them every time i go to eat a snack, and be like "yay :)"
except, like, i don't come to this page when i'm feeling snacky. i just hang stuff here, y'know, for fun.
